This is the great ending to our day. Katie's colleague Jenns from Bonn came into town with his son Ryan and gave us a fabulous walking tour of Bonn. They showed us the University, the summer palace, Town Hall, and various government buildings. Jenns explained some of the history of Bonn as capital of Germany until the reunification and how the city was built with different plaza/squares. Then he took us home for a marvelous meal made by his wife, Julia. It was a wonderful way to see Bonn and end the day.
